BRUNT USA Marin Welted BRUNT Toe Waterproof (Comp Toe)

This is the upgraded, American-made version of the Marin I’d choose for tougher jobsites. It combines a waterproof build and composite safety toe with BRUNT’s added rubber toe protection, plus a more traditional welted construction. 
 
The BRUNT Toe adds a layer of rubber over the outside of the toe where work boots tend to get beat up first. If you spend a lot of time kneeling, crawling, or working on concrete and rough surfaces, it helps protect the front of the boot from getting scraped and worn down.
 
The welted construction refers to how the boot is built. A separate welt runs around the perimeter of the boot and helps connect the upper to the sole, giving it a more traditional, durable construction compared with a standard bonded boot.
 
This version is also made in the USA, so if you like the Marin but want to step up to a more premium American-made boot with added protection for demanding work, this is the version I’d choose.
